Physician Wellness Winter Retreat

2-DAY VIRTUAL RETREAT ON January 16th & 17th, 2021

Wellness & Physician Experts

Kathy Stepien, M.D., FAAP Physician, Coach, Educator

Dr. Stepien is all about physician wellness. She is the director and CEO of The Institute for Physician Wellness and an internationally known speaker, coach and author. She is the recipient of the Victorian Cross Humanitarian Award for her work in physician wellness, and has published research and essays in the medical literature as well as in the lay press.

Dr. Stepien is a board-certified Pediatrician in active practice. She holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy and practiced physical therapy for 13 years prior to entering medicine.  Her story is similar to many physicians—valuing excellent medical care, integrity, hard work and compassion while working within a broken medical system. She is committed to transforming the culture of medicine to one that holds physician wellness at its core–benefitting physicians as well as the patients they serve.

Because self-care isn’t being selfish…it’s the foundation for excellence in medicine.

Kristi H. Angevine, MD, FACOG is a general OBGYN in private practice. Founder of Habits on Purpose for Physicians, she helps physicians change habits that don't serve them into intentional ones that do. Her coaching practice targets the root causes of overextending, perpetually feeling behind, harsh self criticism and the myriad of numbing behaviors that come with feeling worn out and harried. She loves deconstructing anxiety, self doubt and perfectionism and seeing the aha moments where physicians learn what's getting in the way of consistent action toward a goal. “No one can coach a physician like another physician. Coaching gives back to my colleagues who give so much of themselves.” She is a certified Life and Weight Loss coach through The Life Coach School.
